This should have been posted two weeks ago, but I forgot.
Here are some pics of Nick demonstrating Claire's Eco-worm community. Successive layers of the interlocking green tubs reveal the fabulous world of worm life: shops, cafes, a library, schools and a university, a licensed sex shop, bondage club and so on. Everything an advanced civilization needs.
And we all remember the Singer sewing machine, don't we? Well, Claire's bought one to help in the battle against global warming. She heard that Al Gore wants to replant vast areas of destroyed Amazon rainforest with millions of Singer sewing machines.
But time can't erase my fond memories of the Singer: In just 30 mins Laura used it to knock up an outfit to go to Inchbare, then we used to cut our hair and lance our boils with it, then I used it to do the dishes (I f**kin' did, too!), Sonya drove it to Stracathro Hospital for work , Dad composed an Xmas Top Ten hit with it (we still sing along to "Jesus Grilled his own Underpants"), Mum wrote essays for her 'O' Grade English with it, Claire, Laura and Craig Lindsay all shared it in a menage a quatre, and it was Nick's first girlfriend. I'm sure we all wish Claire (and Nick) the best of luck with the Singer sewing machine. I wonder what Nick'll be wearing to Jess and Jonnie's wedding? Errrrrmmm...
